It filters impurities in fuel and prevents them from entering injection valves and cold start valves. Gasoline filters are important components of the EFI system. Only the gasoline filter with or beyond the matching quality in the original plant can provide the clean fuel required by the EFI system, thus optimizing the engine performance and providing the best protection for the engine.

Gasoline is just as important to a car as food is to the human body. Without the supply of gasoline, the vehicle cannot go anywhere. In addition, in the case of gasoline, if the oil is not very good, there are more impurities in the gasoline. This can damage the injector, the fuel pump, the fuel line, and so on in the engine, thus affecting the normal operation of the fuel system. So at this point, the role of the gasoline filter is fully demonstrated. The role of the gasoline filter is to filter out solid impurities such as iron oxide, dust or water contained in gasoline. On the one hand, it can reduce the probability of impurity blocking the injector, on the other hand, it can also ensure the gasoline oil quality flowing into the fuel system.

 

Cleaning principle:

The function of the gasoline filter is to remove the moisture and impurities from the gasoline.

Under the action of the gasoline pump, the fuel oil enters the settling cup of the filter through the oil inlet. As the volume becomes larger, the flow rate becomes smaller, the heavier water and impurity particles are deposited at the bottom of the cup, and the light impurities flow to the filter core. The clean fuel oil permeates the inside of the filter through the micro-pore of the filter and then flows out through the tubing.

There are two kinds of filter elements: porous ceramic and paper. The paper filter is made of microporous filter paper treated with resin, which has the advantages of high filtration efficiency, low cost and convenient replacement, so it is widely used.
