no corrosive impurity inside the lubrication oil.
Condenser (Oil- water separator) Installation Instructions
1. Product Performance:
This product is suitable for pneumatic brake motors, by which the water, oil and other impurities in the compressed air can be pretreated (condensate separation and discharge), and significantly extends the service life of the air dryer and valve parts.
2. Working Principle:
When driving, the output of compressed air in the air compressor enters into the inner spiral channel of the condenser. The temperature declines rapidly and condensation happens. Then the oil and water in the compressed air are separated out, sinking in the liquid collecting chamber. In the meanwhile, the filtered compressed air enters into the air dryer through the intake passage.
When the automatic drain valve is powered on(when the crane brakes), the inside valve of the condenser closes the intake channel and opens the vent, expelling the water, oil and other impurities in the intercepting chamber with compressed air. When the automatic drain valve is powered off (when braking is removed), slide valve opens the intake channel and closes the vent, continuously transporting the compressed air to the air dryer.
3. Installation Method:
a. This product must be installed in the line between the air compressor and the air dryer, and is close to the air dryer.
b. The side interface of the condenser (NPT/2 or M22*1.5) must be connected to the output line cross of the air compressor. And the interface in the center of its top (NPT/2 or M22*1.5) must be connected to the air inlet of the air dryer. The condenser should be kept fixed and steady by using H-typed frame.
c. There are two ways of electrical connections, connecting the lug with wire of 14-16 dimensions.
One way: Connect the 30# end of the relay to one end of the ignition switch, the 85# end to the "HOT" (the initiator) end of the brake switch, the 86# end to the ground, the 85# end to the interface of the automatic drain valve, the other end of the automatic drain valve to the ground and keep the 87a# end unoccupied. (Warning: Relay should be packed in the waterproof area.)
The other: Connect one end of the interface of the automatic drain valve to the "HOT" (the initiator), and the other end to the ground (paralleling with the brake light)
